Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez an American/Cuban TV arbitrator for Caso Cerrado, is the host of Ana Polo Rules. Ana was was raised in Cuba's Havana. She moved to Miami with her family at age two after moving out of Havana. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the producer and host of Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado" which is among the most watched Spanish-language programs that the channel airs. The show was nominated for one of the Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in 2015. The show was ranked at the top in all key demos. Polo was born on the 11th of April, 1959 Havana, Cuba and went on to attend Florida International University, where she received a diploma in political sciences. She then earned a PhD in Law at the University of Miami, and practiced for twenty decades in Miami. After earning her PhD at the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Polo was the first to make an appearance on TV in 2001 as part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her legal skills were also used to produce other court programs. Literature and Awards in 1958, she wrote Los Hijos Muertos. This novel was awarded the Critic's Prize and the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain to move to the United States in 1960. Polo is an ovarian cancer survivor, frequently raises money for this causes and gives speeches at parties. Polo has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights all throughout her life. She is a Florida Bar-member since 1987 and graduated in law at the University of Miami School of Law.
