LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of the top basketball players. He is often compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most well-known basketball player. James won two Olympic golds and four NBA championships. James is the player with the most points during playoffs and has and has the second highest number of career points and is the seventh player with the most assists in his career. This is an NBA record that he's been an NBA All-Star for 18 years. James was the third player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from 2011 to 2018. James has been selected for his place on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's very first player to have accumulated 10,000 or more points, rebounds, and assists during his professional career, in 2022. James played at St. Vincent St. Mary High School within his hometown from Akron Ohio and was heavily touted by the national media as a potential NBA star. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. The 2004 NBA Rookie of Year the player quickly became one of the top league players winning his NBA MVP Award in both 2009 and 2010. He was unable to secure an NBA championship, Cleveland James left in 2010 by way of a free-agent to join Miami Heat. Miami Heat this was announced in the television program The Decision and is among the most controversial free agent decisions ever made in the history of sports.
