Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. Being an U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the only one who won four gold medals in the same Games during the 2016 Olympics. Biles is also the first person to win three consecutive world championships. Biles along with the younger of her sisters Adria were conceived by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare teacher Aimee Borman at 6 years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles received a silver medal in vault, as well as a gold medal on the floor during the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. In 2011, she began competing in elite levels of the sport. A year later Biles had a dominating performance in the sport. Her consistency, her vivacious character and her high level of difficulty in her four events -vault uneven bars, balance beam floor exercise and floor exercise -- set her out from the rest of the athletes.
